Warranty
At Forest Vevra, we stand behind the quality of our craftsmanship. We offer a one-year limited warranty covering manufacturing defects from the date of purchase.
If you believe your item has a manufacturing defect, please contact us to arrange a return for inspection. If the issue is determined to be a manufacturing defect, we will repair the item at no cost.
If the damage is not caused by a manufacturing defect, we will notify you and advise whether repair services are available at an additional cost. Please note that gemstones are not manufactured by us, and any damage to gemstones—accidental or otherwise—is not covered under this warranty.
What Our Warranty Does Not Cover
Our warranty does not include:
-
Lost or stolen jewelry
-
Jewelry that has been abused or deeply damaged
-
Chipped, cracked, broken, or damaged center stones or gemstones
-
Wear and tear that is not related to a manufacturing defect, including but not limited to:
-
Side stones falling out due to bent, broken, or worn prongs
-
Metal discoloration caused by chemicals, household cleaners, cosmetics, perfume, hairspray, chlorinated pools, or hot tubs
-
Misshapen settings caused by daily pressure, exercise (especially weightlifting), physical labor, or gardening
-
Please note that slight irregularities in craftsmanship, natural characteristics, or internal inclusions in gemstones—visible or not—are unique to each piece and are not considered defects.
Wear & Tear Disclaimer
Precious metals and gemstones are delicate by nature and require proper care to maintain their beauty and longevity. Rings, in particular, are subject to constant impact from daily wear and require regular preventative maintenance.
Issues that arise from normal wear—such as bent bands, missing or broken stones, worn, bent, or broken prongs—are considered wear and tear and are not covered by our warranty.
Because these issues may occur over time, we strongly recommend obtaining personal jewelry insurance to protect against loss, theft, or damage not covered by this warranty.
Damage resulting from resizing, repair, or services performed by anyone other than Forest Vevra is not covered under this warranty.
Ring Care & Preventative Maintenance
To preserve the beauty and integrity of your jewelry, we recommend visiting a local jeweler every 6–12 months for routine maintenance.
Preventative maintenance should include:
-
Inspection of the setting and prongs
-
Checking all diamonds or gemstones for security
-
Professional cleaning and polishing
-
Tightening stones as needed
For 14k and 18k white gold, rhodium plating is the final finishing step and may need to be reapplied periodically as part of regular maintenance.
Proper care will help ensure your jewelry remains secure and beautiful for years to come.
